The current and, above all, the future energy supply represents a problem that takes on a strategic role in all countries of the planet. This role is even more pronounced in advanced Countries in which human well-being is closely related to the amount and, increasingly, to the quality of energy used. The energy crisis has led to higher prices for the supply of fossil fuels and increased dependence of developed countries on energy supplies, without solving the negative environmental consequences coming from greenhouse gas emissions. Abstract

Sustainable development depends on renewable energy sources; energy assessment of these sources can be considered a development strategy for improving the quality of life and the environment. This study wishes to give a cognitive contribution to the prospects of development of renewable energy on farms.
