L’articolo illustra i risultati di una ricerca volta a sondare la presenza di Costantinopoliin quanto realema nei romanzi cavallereschi castigliani. Ciò cheemerge da tale sondaggio è che la città si presenta come un punto di riferimentoin un quadro geopolitico ampio e che appartiene a un Occidente cristiano.Costantinopoli è così il punto più estremo di un’area divisa in due: da una partei cristiani, e dall’altra gli “infedeli”.
