Abstract

The use of supplements is very common in patients with male infertility, sexual disorders and prostatic diseases. Many combinations are commercially available but their purity and titration are still not well defined. In this brief review, we describe the most used natural treatments in Italy to provide all the therapeutic strategies in the field of the fertility, sexuality and prostatic diseases. Sometime, a slight improvement of the sperm parameters leads to the achievement of pregnancy. These compounds can offer a useful alternative to the use of PDE5i for the treatment of sexual disorders or can reduce inflammation in prostatic diseases. Moreover, in selected uroandrological patients, natural remedies may represent the first therapeutic choice.
