The article picks up the issue of the identification of the few pages entitled De ratione fidei, published by Engelbrecht to conclude the edition of the work by Faustus (CSEL 21), with the parvus libellus cited by Genadius (after the De spiritu sancto and the De gratia), in the list of writings of the Gallic bishop which Genadius handed down and are therefore attributed to Faustus. Textual comparison with the rest of the bishop’s works leads to the conclusion that these works are most likely to be by Faustus, as they clearly demonstrate an affinity with his thought and also with the layout and articulation of the arguments.
