Soul and body in the reflection on man’s ages con- tained in the William of Conches’ Glosae super Platonem [Anima e corpo nella Filosofia medievale]

In William of Conches’ reading of the Timaeus, the topic of man’s ages is set up as an opportunity to complete the reflection on the soul, understood as a condition of rationality and order, and on its relationship with the body, ie on obstacles that the latter opposes the fulfillment of its hegemonic function.
