Dissecting cellulitis of the scalp (DCS) is a chronic inflammatory condition characterized by recurrent nodules, abscesses and sinus tracts. Trichoscopy has been demonstrated to be useful in a variety of hair and scalp disorders.4–6 We report trichoscopy findings of six white men (mean age 31 years, range 23–37) with DCS, Fitzpatrick skin type III and brown/black hair, and their correlation with disease activity and duration.

Abstract
