The capability of digital pulse shape technique to acquire data from Si- CsI(Tl) detection cells has been already demonstrated. We have now applied this technique to the Focal Plane Detector of MAGNEX Spectrometer in order to measure the position coordinates using digital signal processing. This contribution presents the preliminary results.

Abstract
