This paper shows simulations and experimental result of a 1.5 kW waveguide DC-Break designed for the AISHa ion source in commissioning phase at INFN-LNS. The DC-Break was designed to fulfill an insulation of 50 kV, power losses lower than 0.5 dB by considering the compactness as key requirement.

Abstract
