Dilthey e Bastian: sviluppi e prospettive degli studi di Antropologia [Dilthey and Bastian: Developments and perspectives of anthropological studies]

The work examines a short text by Dilthey on anthropology as Geisteswissenschaft and as an opportunity to expand human studies in order to reconsider some aspects, which had been traditionally assigned to multiple disciplines, in a perspective that makes possible the understanding of the complexity of the "entire man" and of his constitutive relations. In particular, the pretext is offered by a note on Adolf Bastian, renowned anthropologist and advocate of "field studies", who saw in Dilthey's thought the possibility for a wider and an independent foundation of the human sciences

Il lavoro fa il punto sugli studi di antropologia sul campo nella seconda metà dell'Ottocento, specie in Germania, con particolare riferimento all'opera innovativa di Bastian, che doveva contribuire non poco a sviluppare la dimensione scientifica dell'antropologia comparata, rendendo grande utilità al progresso delle scienze umane in generale.
