A low-concentration static collector has been designed and manufactured. The chosen geometry reduces the thermal convection, while the selective coating of the absorber reduces radiative losses. The total thermal losses have been measured as a function of temperature difference between absorber and ambient up to ΔT=150°C. Abstract
