The Ritter Museum is a private museum institution founded in 2005 in the rich region of Baden-Württemberg, by the will of the Marli Hoppe-Ritter Stiftung zur Förderung der Kunst. Marli Hoppe-Ritter is a great collector of works (especially related to the theme of the square in art) and does not take into account the notoriety of the artists whose works she acquires. The Ritter Museum follows the guidelines of the ICOM Code of Ethics (ICOM, 2004) and includes among its objectives the promotion of young artists and culture in Germany. Despite the strong interest of the Foundation in the dissemination and cultural accessibility, the museum institution does not yet seem to have started a regular and systematic public monitoring and observation campaign.
