Abstract

In the Imamite doctrine, the two occultations, minor (874/941) and major (941-), are both connected to a time of waiting for the Imam, in other words the one who interprets, definitively, the revealed Law and who guarantees a just application of said Law. The present contribution focuses precisely on the connection between waiting and justice during the time marked by the absence of the Imam, in the perspective of surrendering oneself to perfect justice when he returns.
