Different aspects of the formation and decay of Mg-24 in the collision N-13+B-11 have been studied using a large solid angle and highly segmented Silicon strip detector. Results concerning the fusion cross section, the 6 alpha decay of Mg-24 and the GDR gamma ray emission are discussed.

Abstract

Different aspects of the formation and decay of Mg-24 in the collision N-13+B-11 have been studied using a large solid angle and highly segmented Silicon strip detector. Results concerning the fusion cross section, the 6 alpha decay of Mg-24 and the GDR gamma ray emission are discussed.
