IL RUOLO DELL'ETICHETTATURA PER LE PRODUZIONI D'OLIO EXTRA VERGINE D'OLIVA DOP

In the last years, the consumer has shown an increasing interest about the thematic concerning the food safety and quality of the agri-food products acquired. An important role carried out from a corrected communication, especially for those aspects that concern the origin and the tie between product of quality and territory of origin. Such information are communicated through the labelling that represents an important instrument in order to establish a fiduciary relationship between product and consumer. In this paper, it has been conducted an analysis about the labelling for the extra-virgin olive-oil PDO productions, especially regarding the rules of the labelling of such productions and role that the labelling can carry out in order to improve the competitive level of the olive-oil Sicilian enterprises.
