The antibacterial spectrum, which coincides perfectly with oral microbial flora, and the pharmacokinetic profile, which assures therapeutic leves in such a field, guarantee good results at the recommended dose. In particular the absolute tolerability of the drug provides prophylaxis for those patients at risk of postextractive bacteremia.
