Desire, Perception and Deception

Affective perception of the real body is the unique condition of activation of desire, also of sexual desire (the desire of the other's body). Perception of the body cannot be surrogated by the relationship with its fictitious and virtual reproductions, and the loss of desire makes clear that the root of the problem does not lie neither at the level of conscious representations nor of the ghosts, but of the non-deceptive relationship with real persons.
