My essay begins with the issue of human rights. I relate the development of human rights regimes within the European Union to the general question of human rights education, without which human rights must keep abstract legality. The ethical life of human rights in Europe begins in the classroom, once it transcends the national perspective first towards a European one, ant then global. But in Europe the different perspectives of nearly the whole spectrum of global and national cultures has to be mediated, and only this mediation can transform abstract human rights norms into concrete life plans.

Abstract
My essay begins with the issue of human rights. I relate the development of human rights regimes within the European Union to the general question of human rights education, without which human rights must keep abstract legality. The ethical life of human rights in Europe begins in the classroom, once it transcends the national perspective first towards a European one, ant then global. But in Europe the different perspectives of nearly the whole spectrum of global and national cultures has to be mediated, and only this mediation can transform abstract human rights norms into concrete life plans.File in questo prodotto:
