The scenario of the Auchenorrhyncha fauna of Sicily shows about 40% oftaxa inhabiting the Italian territories. In the present contribution 358 specieswith a sufficiently known distribution, are considered. The majority of themhas a Mediterranean distribution (about 35% of the total) with prevalence oftheWest-Mediterranean and endemic ones. These groups, together with thoseshowing Central-Asiatic or Turanian distribution (about 19%) and Euro-Mediterranean distribution (about 13%), are the most characteristic of theAuchenorrhyncha fauna of Sicily.
