Abstract
Farm buildings for donkey breeding were analysed at three pilot farms in Sicily (Italy) by observing their management and their environmental and functional performance. The study highlights how buildings for horses and milk cows are frequently used. Even though they do answer some requirements for donkeys others fall short needing appropriate adaptation. So, useful planning criteria have been given for new equipment which principally take into account the requirements of health/hygiene and animal transit.File in questo prodotto:
