The aim of this contribution is to include the climate variables into the decision processes leading to the planning, design and operations of the transport system. Integrating mitigation and adaptation measures to prepare cities for the inevitable impacts of climate change will help to put in action a win-win solution. Adapting urban transport to climate change will be addressed assessing both vulnerability of the transport infrastructure and operations system and impacts on travel habits.
