We show some solutions representing non-linear waves in a Friedmann background. We show that, for the special case of a radiation dominated fluid and a marginally open universe, it is possible to take full account of the expansion of the universe. These solutions show that, at least for samll perturbations of the background, the dispersive effects of the gravity can balance the non linearity of the equation to produce non breaking structures.

Abstract

We show some solutions representing non-linear waves in a Friedmann background. We show that, for the special case of a radiation dominated fluid and a marginally open universe, it is possible to take full account of the expansion of the universe. These solutions show that, at least for samll perturbations of the background, the dispersive effects of the gravity can balance the non linearity of the equation to produce non breaking structures.
