Abstract
Thyroid nodules are a very frequent pathology. Despite the vast majority of them are of be-nign origin, the incidence of thyroid cancer is on rise. The purpose of our study was to evaluate thy-roid nodules and to correlate their subcapsular localization with the prevalence of cancer and its pathologic staging. We have observed that thyroid nodules with subcapsular localization are char-acterized by high incidence of papillary microcarcinoma which frequently has an involvement of thy-roid capsule at the time of diagnosisFile in questo prodotto:
