The essay "Literarische Grenzüberschreitungen: (un-)exakte Wissenschaften bei Brigitta Falkner" analyses the latest production of the Austrian author Brigitta Falkner on the basis of the concepts 'trespassing' and 'hybridisation'. The importance of both terms can already be seen in Brigitta Falkner's intermediate approach to literature. They also mark her unusual thematic choice, such as natural and mathematical sciences. The author unifies science and postmodern poetry in a true 'archaeology of knowledge' way. Falkner digs into the history of the episteme and demythologizes science itself, as well as its proponents. The essay analyses the following works: "Kleins Hegel. Oder die Mathematisierung der Philosophie" (2004/2012), in which the mathematician Felix Klein depicts Max Bense and his instances; "Populäre Panoramen I" (2010), in which hard sciences monopolize the daily perceptions of the narrating self; and "Strategien der Wirtsfindung" (2017), whose hybrid way of combining writing and image - almost as in a graphic novel - erases the boundaries between biology (or better insectology) and literature.
Nel saggio „Literarische Grenzüberschreitungen: (un-)exakte Wissenschaften bei Brigitta Falkner“ viene analizzata l’ultima produzione dell’autrice austriaca Brigitta Falkner sulla base dei concetti ‚sconfinamento‘ e ‚ibridazione‘. L’importanza dei due termini si mostra già nell’approccio intermediale di Brigitta Falkner alla letteratura, e segnano anche la sua scelta tematica inusuale, come le scienze naturali e matematiche. L’autrice unifica poesia postmoderna e scienza in una vera e propria modalità da ‚archeologia del sapere‘: Falkner scava nella storia dell’episteme e demitizza la scienza stessa come pure i suoi rappresentanti. Nel saggio vengono analizzate le opere “Kleins Hegel. Oder die Mathematisierung der Philosophie” (2004/2012), in cui il matematico Felix Klein rappresenta Max Bense e le sue istanze; “Populäre Panoramen I” (2010), in cui le scienze esatte monopolizzano le quotidiane percezioni dell’io narrante; e “Strategien der Wirtsfindung” (2017), la cui modalità ibrida nel combinare scrittura e immagine – quasi come in una graphic novel – cancella i confini fra biologia (o meglio ancora insettologia) e letteratura.
