In these hard times of global pandemic, that are producing various effects depending on contexts, the YA Coordination Team and the Editorial Board of the Booklet Project decided to publish a Special Issue of the Booklet focused on this topic. The overall aim of this Special Issue is to critically reflect on the global North/South dichotomy discussing specific themes: planning theory from the Global South, international planning practices and education, new vocabularies, South to North transfer, geographic VS thematic Global South(s).
