We study a biological tissue as a biphasic material composed of several constituents allowed to be transferred from one phase to the other . Our porpuse in the following chapters is to give an overview of the most fundamental problems of biomechanical and biophysical interest, retracing the state of the art in term of contents and results.

Abstract
