The volume presents the results of the investigations conducted by the University of Catania at the Calaforno hypogeum and in the territory. It consists of a first part which analytically describes the hypogeum, its structure and the excavations, by Pietro Militello. A second part edited by different authors publishes the materials. A third part includes two articles on the Superintendency's activities.

Il volume presenta i risultati delle indagini condotte dall'Università di Catania presso l'ipogeo di Calaforno e nel territorio. E' costituito da una prima parte che descrive analiticamente l'ipogeo, la sua struttura e gli scavi, ad opera di Pietro Militello. Una seconda parte a cura di diversi autori pubblica i materiali. Una terza parte include due articoli sulle attività della Soprintendenza.
