In this book, the author examines the outcomes of EU policies oriented towards improving social sustainability. After a preliminary analysis of the meanings attached to the theme of social cohesion, the author proceeds to identify the Eurostat indicators that are useful to assess the effectiveness of social policies. The analysis of these data makes it possible to distinguish between three non-overlapping European Social Models, confirming the findings that have emerged from studies on European cultural, economic and political traditions. In the last section of the book, this information is integrated with an automatic analysis of the content of the main European reference regulations between 2000 and 2024. In this way, the growing importance attached to the issues of social sustainability and territorial cohesion becomes evident. Finally, the Eurostat and ESS (European Social Survey) data are combined, showing a strong relationship between context (European Social Models) and the limits to the guarantee of social cohesion.

Abstract
Finally, the Eurostat and ESS (European Social Survey) data are combined, showing a strong relationship between context (European Social Models) and the limits to the guarantee of social cohesion.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
