This paper presents a single-phase resonant DC link inverter for photovoltaic applications achieving high efficiency thanks to a single-stage configuration and zero voltage switching. Furthermore, by exploiting a high frequency transformer, some key characteristics of two-stage inverter configurations are achieved, such as input voltage boosting, input -output isolation and elimination of leakage current, with no additional power devices. Simulations performed on a 6kW PV plant demonstrated that in terms of power quality, the 61000-3-2 standard can be largely assessed with a very small LCL passive output filter.

Abstract
This paper presents a single-phase resonant DC link inverter for photovoltaic applications achieving high efficiency thanks to a single-stage configuration and zero voltage switching. Furthermore, by exploiting a high frequency transformer, some key characteristics of two-stage inverter configurations are achieved, such as input voltage boosting, input -output isolation and elimination of leakage current, with no additional power devices. Simulations performed on a 6kW PV plant demonstrated that in terms of power quality, the 61000-3-2 standard can be largely assessed with a very small LCL passive output filter.File in questo prodotto:
