Abstract
Claude Cahun’s literary and artistic production origins from a historical period – the first half of the twentieth century – characterized by unprecedented transformations. The result is the formation of a fragmented, and yet coherent, poetics, whose apparent interruptions are substituted by symbolical breaks shaping a discontinuous evolution. Our aim is to propose a reading of Cahun’s production as expression of a “poetics of caesura” that evolves from late symbolism to the European modernism, and finally reaches a conception of writing as a human remedy against the risks of silence.File in questo prodotto:
