Thereis a growing interest in the development of advanced chemical and biochemical detection methodologies enabling applications in the agri-food, environmental and healthcare sectors. This paper reports the main tasks accomplished in this field by the BOHEMIAN project. The project aims to develop an integrated sensing device implementing different detection methodologies for biosensing, such as electrochemical, capacitive and optical. In particular, exploiting features of the above sensing strategies, the following two solutions will be investigated by using aptamers as bioreceptors: a 'hybrid opto-electrochemical intrinsic fiber sensor' and a 'opto-capacitive sensor'.

Abstract
Thereis a growing interest in the development of advanced chemical and biochemical detection methodologies enabling applications in the agri-food, environmental and healthcare sectors. This paper reports the main tasks accomplished in this field by the BOHEMIAN project. The project aims to develop an integrated sensing device implementing different detection methodologies for biosensing, such as electrochemical, capacitive and optical. In particular, exploiting features of the above sensing strategies, the following two solutions will be investigated by using aptamers as bioreceptors: a 'hybrid opto-electrochemical intrinsic fiber sensor' and a 'opto-capacitive sensor'.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
