This paper deals with the comparison of different current sensing technologies that can be utilized in performing double pulse testing. Initially, the paper describes the principle of operation of the various current measurement technologies, underlying their pros and cons. Then, the considered solutions are experimentally compared through an extensive campaign of tests performed on a half-bridge power board equipped with SiC power MOSFETs. This analysis highlights the differences in switching loss estimation depending on the measurement technology used.

Abstract
This paper deals with the comparison of different current sensing technologies that can be utilized in performing double pulse testing. Initially, the paper describes the principle of operation of the various current measurement technologies, underlying their pros and cons. Then, the considered solutions are experimentally compared through an extensive campaign of tests performed on a half-bridge power board equipped with SiC power MOSFETs. This analysis highlights the differences in switching loss estimation depending on the measurement technology used.File in questo prodotto:
