The purpose of this monograph is to study the collective actions carried out by the networks of pro-migrant activism, in order to understand if these networks use migrant issues to reach purely political objectives, or they organize conventional or non-conventional protests aimed at establishing a society that respects human rights. In this regard, the research methodology is based on the application of comparative research to analyse some of the networks of associations operating in Europe, in order to sociologically deepen the phenomenon of pro-social activism and if this phenomenon would be expressed in forms of dissent protests such as civil disobedience or other demonstration practices.

Abstract

The purpose of this monograph is to study the collective actions carried out by the networks of pro-migrant activism, in order to understand if these networks use migrant issues to reach purely political objectives, or they organize conventional or non-conventional protests aimed at establishing a society that respects human rights. In this regard, the research methodology is based on the application of comparative research to analyse some of the networks of associations operating in Europe, in order to sociologically deepen the phenomenon of pro-social activism and if this phenomenon would be expressed in forms of dissent protests such as civil disobedience or other demonstration practices.
