Nowadays, more and more disruptive events such as weather phenomena, health crises, or wars can affect supply chain resilience. At the same time, new circular approaches based on the recovery of waste are spreading in companies worldwide. The goal of this work is to analyze the resilience of circular supply chains under market demand spike, as happened in the Covid-19 pandemic scenario. The results obtained show how the implementation of circular paradigms, such as industrial symbiosis and closed-loops supply chains, can improve supply chain resilience. Particularly, supply chain's adaptive and restorative capacities are always improved, also for moderate degree of circularity. Moreover, increasing the circularity of supply chain also increases the absorptive capacity.

Abstract
Moreover, increasing the circularity of supply chain also increases the absorptive capacity.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
