In the modern knowledge society it is becoming increasingly important to maintain and promote social connections; among these, the kinship allows people to keep in touch with their relatives. In this paper we present a proposal for building and enhancing kinship networks by exploring acquaintances and friend relationships, showing the effectiveness and expandability of our approach.
