CHIMERA multidetector was used to perform experiments induced by radioactive beams. Its highly performing features allowed the use of kinematical coincidence technique to discriminate between different reaction mechanisms occurring, opening the possibility to perform accurate study of the structure of halo nuclei in the 11Be region.
