A COMPLEX GEOMETRY IN THE FIELD OF SIMULATION AND GRAPHIC EXPRESSION The study of representation in Architecture is aimed at making explicit abstract entities as thought and idea, which can be expressed through an immediate gesture, a sketch, or through a more complex organizing path of the creative process, that can be made concrete by creating models. The production of models, as part of the composing approach, creates a patrimony of timelessly crystallized ideas whose physiognomy prescinds from the finished work and is able to interpret its history. The experience made in the Architecture School of Syracuse has produced the exemplar of the creative process, the models of the idea, not just of the architecture work. These models spring from a method of research applied to architectonic objects similar to the simplest and most democratic geometric solid: the Cube. Starting from the geometric datum, this method has been applied putting together different architectures on the basis of similar potentials, by virtue of the emanated fluxes of energy. The plastic simulation has been developed through compared researching paths on objects of different scale. The scale becomes a requirement of the grid that creates relations between objects joined by possible planning processes and differentiated by the representing scale. The maquettes, made by selecting, analyzing and decomposing, reveal themselves and the used method.

Abstract
The maquettes, made by selecting, analyzing and decomposing, reveal themselves and the used method.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
