In a spectroscopic binary system the determination of T-eff and log g is complicated by the effect of light dilution due to the superposition of stars continua. To correct for this effect we need to know the light ratio among components. Here we present the results of fitting the composite spectra of the binary system HD 191110 and of the triple system HD 216494. For both objects, observations have been carried out at the Catania Astrophysical Observatory (R = 20 000) and high resolution spectra (R = 100 000) have been dowloaded from the CFHT archive.

Abstract
In a spectroscopic binary system the determination of T-eff and log g is complicated by the effect of light dilution due to the superposition of stars continua. To correct for this effect we need to know the light ratio among components. Here we present the results of fitting the composite spectra of the binary system HD 191110 and of the triple system HD 216494. For both objects, observations have been carried out at the Catania Astrophysical Observatory (R = 20 000) and high resolution spectra (R = 100 000) have been dowloaded from the CFHT archive.File in questo prodotto:
