In this paper, an adaptive current control for PFC is presented. The proposed method aims to solve the challenge of obtaining high steady-state performance of the converter with a relatively simple controller, such as a proportional integrator (PI), which involves low computational effort for digital control implementation. The outstanding results achieved in a 7 kW PFC platform validate this adaptive control approach.
