In this paper we deal with the so urgent and challenging issue of teaching and learning trough technology in a wide and globalized world, based on technological tools. Especially we take care of the situation in the South of Italy (Sicily) where an increased request of technological learning is opposed to a not completely prepared teaching. We are convinced, in fact, that most of the lack of techno-teaching/learning is not due to insufficient tools in the schools (more and more schools here have computer labs, software, interactive whiteboards …) but ra-ther to teachers who do not feel confident in such a way to teach, have problems of affection towards technology and do not know how to integrate computers in class practice. We think this issue could be solved, or at least we try to do it, by means of “teaching by doing”, namely by learning how to techno-teach by laboratory activities among teachers. Abstract
In a collaborative environment teachers attending the labs learn how to prepare teaching material and how to use tools (Dynamic Geometry Systems, in our cases) in classFile | Dimensione | Formato | |
