238U photofission yield measurements in the 3.6-6.0-MeV range and angular distribution results in the 5.1-6.0-MeV range are presented. A preliminary analysis of the data within the framework of the double-humped barrier model is reported. Fission barrier parameters of the 2+0 channel are obtained. At low energy, the shelf effect is detected in the total photofission yield.
