The paper develops an analysis on competitive strategies of local food products following a theoretical approach that underlines the relationship between agricultural enterprises and territory. We suggest a key to understanding this relationship through the filter of the theory of the firm, developed within the management sciences. This interpretative framework puts in evidence the rationale driving the strategic behavior of firms based on their territorial resources as well as their organizational and management capabilities.
La relazione analizza il tema delle strategie competitive dei prodotti agroalimentari tipici muovendosi lungo un percorso teorico-concettuale che mette in evidenza il rapporto tra imprese e territorio. Viene proposta una chiave di lettura di tale rapporto attraverso il filtro della teoria dell'impresa, sviluppata nell'ambito delle scienze gestionali. In questo quadro interpretativo sono messe in evidenza le logiche che guidano il comportamento strategico delle imprese in base alle loro risorse territoriali, nonché alle capacità gestionali e organizzative.
