Abstract
Noise added systems present interesting features in many application fields. A stochastic resonance phenomenon has been introduced as an innovative approach for both understanding the behaviour and improving the performance of this class of system. The main problem in dealing with noise added systems is the identification of the optimal value of the noise variance. The authors have introduced a theoretical law attesting the dependence between the noise variance and some forcing signal parameters. In this paper both numerical and hardware solutions for the implementation of the this law are proposed. These include a virtual instrument and an analog deviceI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
