Abstract
The interaction of 2-anthrylmethylpyrrole with halide anions was studied by means fluorescence spectroscopy. Such compd. behaves as a selective fluorescent indicator for fluoride, over chloride and bromide, through a preferred H binding that increases the efficiency of the pyrrole unit in quenching the fluorescence of the anthryl chromophore.File in questo prodotto:
