Abstract

High performance models are required for the design of sensing devices in order to take their physical behaviour into account and include these models in calculations and simulations aimed at optimizing the performance of devices in real working conditions. In this paper the problem of model fitting for ferroelectric devices is addressed. The static and the dynamical behaviour of such devices are investigated and an experimental set-up for both characterization and model estimation is proposed. The model obtained is described and the uncertainty introduced by the measurement system is estimated.
