We therefore measured spatial autocorrelation and estimatedautoregressive spatial models in order to explain the pattern of relationship amongterritorial units. By means of spatial models, we investigated the electoral performance of Lega, comparing two northern Italian regions - Lombardia and Veneto - where this party achieves its highest amount of votes.
