We present the results of a research about developing a Web-Gis platform to dynamically create and populate a database with spatial features. The application can be adopted in a wide series of events that require immediate availability, at the desktop GIS, of informations and data from the field. Consider, for example, the possibility of transferring to an operating center of the Department of Civil Protection, in real-time, the informations related to the reconnaissance of damages consequently to disasters or the acquisitions from monitoring and alerting sensors. In particular, this work concerns the management of the navigation of autonomous robots, for which a real-time acquisition of information is required in order to characterize the operational scenario and to determine the optimal paths. In any case, it represents a spatial reference information, that is always accompanied by strings of coordinates acquired with satellite positioning technologies or traditional surveying approaches. As basic software, only free and open source, Map Server with PMapper application, for the Web-Gis functionality, and PostGreSQL/PostGIS as Data Base Managementi System (DBMS) ), have been used.
