The myth of Europe is charming and enigmatic and in it we find all the contradiction of our continent. The roots of myth are in the classic age. The first authors that wrote about it were Homer and Hesiod in VIII century B.C. but is is in fact even more ancient since historically told orally. According to Hesiod Europa is a beautiful woman, Ocean's daughter, mother of the water and Asia's sister.
