In this paper, through the examination of a series of passages, among the most significant and incisive, taken from the works of Plotinus, Syrianus, Proclus, Asclepius/Ammonius and Simplicius, I will try to explain the position of the late antique Neoplatonists on the issue of evil, aiming to highlight how clear is in their works the need to avoid any form of dualism or of confrontational and antagonistic dichotomic opposition, for example between logos and alogon, form and matter, good and evil, and to prove how the whole reality proceeds and derives, from top to bottom, from a single first principle, which is the One- Good, and even how logos and alogon contribute in every part of the universe to the well-being of the entire cosmos, being essential and, to some extent, complementary. In this way, the late Neoplatonists encourage to holistically observe the reality, in all its complexity, highlighting its harmony and coherence even in its inevitable and necessary infightings
