Divination at the court of Frederick the II Hohenstaufen (1197-1250) is largely recorded in numerous sources both Latin and Vernacular. This paper collects these sources, adding new records coming from a literary genre insofar not explored in this perspective, that is to say lyric poetry in vernacular. In particular the recent new edition of the Corpus poetico siciliano and the availability of new data bases of Occitan literature give some new insights of divination at the court of Frederick.
