This work aims at evaluating the different patterns of e-participation and e-democracy fostered by move- ments of engaged citizens who claim and renegotiate their own public space in contemporary city. Through two case studies focused on e-activism for urban sustainability, the research explores actions of mobilisation, discursive strategies as well as practices of bottom up participation mainly developed in the Web.
